Policies and Other Documents

Quick Links

Modern legislation often requires organisations to assess the impact of regulations on their activities and to declare the steps they will take to achieve compliance. While Health and Safety is arguably the most notable of these, recent changes have introduced other requirements, for example, around Financial Security, Child Protection, Racial Discrimination and, most recently, Data Protection.

Where your Parish Council has decided that appropriate action is necessary, Policies, Procedures and other relevant information will be published here.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The Information Commissioner has published a useful guide to this regulation which may be accessed here. In response to the regulations, your council has determined the Policy, available below together with a Publication Scheme to define the data collected, held and processed by the Council on behalf of the parish.
