Earl Stonham Footpaths
Exploring our village on foot
Saturday 18th April
This Spring we shall walk the Red Route, last covered in our report of Spring 2013. It will be interesting to see what changes have taken place.
We'll be leaving from the Village Hall at 2.00 pm.
Bring your dogs and your cameras!
Many folk in the village would love to have your thoughts on these walks, the countryside and the world in general.
Send photos and contributions to the
and we'll share them with our other readers.
Group walks are organised twice a year to walk one of the circular walks centred on the Village Hall.
Children and dogs are welcome.
These events are usually followed by refreshments back at the Village Hall.
There are many footpaths around the Parish and connecting to other parishes in the area.
The Parish Council supports a Footpath Committee that oversees the maintenance of footways, bridges and signage for the network.
A map of these walks, produced by Discover Suffolk, and Suffolk County Council is available to download.
